    Lead Generation

Marketing is the driving force..

More leads, lower CPLs and improved CRM

Welcome to Ballard Communications. We specialise in marketing services from a strategic level through to execution of any marketing task.

Our key focus is on websites and optimisation. Your website markets your brand online, is the face and voice of your business and you can build a powerful lead generation strategy, social media strategy and long lasting customer relationships (CRM).

Marketing should be driving your business forward every single day. If you are a novice and don’t have time for marketing you can outsource. We have a range of packages available to suit. If you want to grow your business, you cannot afford to be complacent when it comes to online marketing.

At Ballard Communications we specialise in developing marketing strategies based on the objectives of your business, developing your brand plus adopting lead generation and sales conversion tactics that work. You can lower your CPLs (cost per lead) and improve ROI (return on investment).

One thing I tell every business of any size, is that their website is fast becoming a vital tool for business success. If you don’t have a website people will wonder why. It’s a bit like not having a phone number in todays’ world – having one gives you credibility and it’s where the most opportunities exist.

If you have a website you need to make sure it meets your business objectives. your website cannot be left alone, it needs to be kept up to date and maintained.

If you want to appear in search results for particular keywords i.e. ‘SEO websites Gold Coast’ then your website needs to be optimised. Optimisation requires an ongoing investment of time and resources. Part of your marketing budget should be committed to SEO as it’s a good investment for any business.

Whatever market you are in, think of the internet as an ‘online marketplace’. Even if you are the number one in your market, is your brand number one online?

Website Optimisation

Website optimisation (or SEO – ‘search engine optimisation’) can be split into two main areas. One is ‘onsite SEO’ and the other ‘offsite SEO’. Onsite SEO consists of tasks such as:

  • Optimising content with relevant keywords
  • Having the correct meta descriptions and meta tags containing relevant keywords and tweaking them as necessary
  • Having anchor text (links between pages)
  • Adding new content regularly
  • Having an XML site map and submitting it to search engines Google, Bing and Yahoo
  • Having a blog, keeping it up to date and allowing people to comment
  • Having social networking links from your site
  • Having a website that is built with technology and code that still allows search engines to easily find and read the content of your site

Once you have mastered your onsite SEO and have a good SEO score, you are then ready for offsite SEO. Offsite SEO is building 3rd party links to your site. Link building will give your site more authority and a higher page ranking over others. A link to your site it a bit like a ‘vote’ for your website and if you want to be at the top of your industry online ‘organically’ you need as many votes as you can get.

Strategies for offsite SEO include:

  • Directory backlinks
  • Article marketing backlinks
  • Social bookmarking backlinks
  • Blog commenting
